Main Description

The To-Be Process model is a description of the envisaged business processes that are in scope for the engagement. The description is done on an outline and a more detailed level such that a clear understanding of the process is achieved. The description contains objectives, evaluations, decisions and actions that describe the purpose of each process, how the process is executed in smaller steps, how data is evaluated and used to make decisions of the flow of the process. The To-Be Process model is typically made up out of three deliverables:

  • Process Hierarchy - that describes the hierarchical decomposition of processes
  • Process Flows - that describe how processes are linked together using control flows
  • Process Definitions - that describe the purpose, logic and other significant process attributes.
